We watched the PGA golf tournament today. No Tiger. He’s very selective in the tournaments he plays. But does anybody else notice the lack of pizzazz on the part of the announcers when Tiger is not playing? My gosh, we still have Phil. He’s cute and he’s got cute kids. Besides that he’s ruthless and a risk taker. That’s exciting, isn’t it? Then you’ve got your Ian Poulters. Pink and Black….that’s a throw back to the 50’s. I remember wearing pink and black and being ever so cool. But a golfer in pink pants with a black stripe, a black shirt and pink and black shoes….he must be awful confident in his manhood. But somehow I think the announcers…the color guys as they are called, are the ones who take the air out of the balloons when Tiger’s not playing. Maybe they’re just so in awe of Tiger, mere mortals hold no interest for them. Oh well, maybe Tiger will play a tournament soon and the thrill will be back.
